The Metropolitan Opera in Brooklyn Bridge Park

It was an amazing evening. The weather was beautiful and so were the voices. The park is still a work in progress but it is splendiferous (I love that word)! And it was completely free, all I spent was the 2.25 for the train ride there (I got a ride home).

Watching the World Cup

Even though the American team lost I had a great time watching the game. The Stumble in had such a great atmosphere Saturday that the lose was bearable, the half priced bar didn't hurt either. I can't get my pictures to upload but I will be working on posting them.

Tomorrow will be my first walking Wednesday where I will pick a neighborhood or two to walk through and explore. I will be sharing my pictures and a brief history of the places I explore.

Until then.

I Got the Name of The Bar from Yesterday.

Its called The Dram Shop, and its a short walk from the 7th ave stop on the F train. It was a really good place with really good World Cup happy hour specials.
